The equipment is mainly composed of photoelectric measuring sensor, digital controller, linear travel sensor and servo valve.The system is a continuous closed-loop regulation system. The sensor continuously measures the change of the edge position of the traveling strip, and inputs the edge position deviation signal to the digital controller. The output of the electronic control system is connected with the servo valve which drives a hydraulic cylinder connected to the tension reel so that the tension reel tracks the incoming strip position for accurate coiling.The tension reel is to track the edge position of the strip, rather than correct the deviation of the position of the strip. The purpose of tracking the edge position of the incoming strip is to coil the strip aiming at one point at the edge of the strip to achieve the flatness on one side of the strip. For side-to-side control of any tension reel, the sensor must be installed near the deflector roll.This system adopts electric synchronous control to track the position of the edge of the incoming strip by tension reel.
